(VEN) - K-Food Fair 2020 Vietnam is a series of events to take place in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City in two periods, from October 21-23 and November 6-8.
The fair will feature the best of Korean cuisine through the presence of dozens of V nhụcietnamese and Korean food companies to promote trade and cultural exchanges between the two countries in 2020, especially in the post-COVID-19 context.
The fair is organized annually by the Vietnamese Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development, the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with the Korean Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs, the Korean Embassy in Vietnam, and the aT center under the Korea Agro-Fisheries Trade Corporation.
Since its first edition in 2008, the fair overtime has developed as a desirable event in Vietnam to youngsters in general and Korean culture lovers in particular. This year, the fair comes back to the Vietnamese in two key events on October 21-23 and November 6-8 with the participation of various food companies of the two countries. This is a chance for businesses to seek cooperation opportunities and to tighten bilateral relations.
Notably, from October 21-23, 2020, an online export consultancy will be held with the participation of 56 Korean companies in prominent fields such as fruit, ginseng, drinks, sauces, soy sauce, noodles, seafood, and 150 Vietnamese food companies at the Lotte Hanoi Hotel and Lotte Ho Chi Minh City Hotel. Moreover, 27 Korean companies and about 300 Vietnamese companies will have a special session to introduce impressive Korean food gifts.
From November 6-8, the Hanoi Opera House will be covered by culinary arts and activities of K-Food Fair with 56 stalls. It will not only introduce to visitors the most typical Vietnamese and Korean dishes made by skillful chefs but also bring them through a culture tour of Korean calligraphy art, posing with famous destinations and Korean beauty technology. There will also be famous artists to join the 2020 event, such as Bich Phuong, Erik, Duc Phuc, Min, Noo Phuoc Thinh, and Hanoi X-Girls. Visitors will have a chance to meet their favorable artists in person and win lucky draw. It promises to be an unignorable destination for Korean culture lovers this autumn.
The event is the first one jointly organized by various public and private Vietnamese and Korean organizations. The series of events is estimated to bring Vietnamese through an exciting journey of high quality taste as well as enlarge the door for a stronger bilateral relationship.
