Foreign investment surges in first six months

(VEN) - A number of foreign direct investment (FDI) projects with total registered capital of billions of US dollars were licensed in late May and early June, resulting in an FDI surge in the first half of 2018 compared with the same period last year. Economists forecast 2018 FDI in Vietnam will exceed US$35.88 billion - the result achieved in 2017.
