The main reason is that the demand for steel remained low and steel inventories remained high. An anti-overload transport policy has been applied on national highways since April 1, 2014. Energy-efficient buildings save 50,400 TOE

(VEN) - The Hanoi Energy Conservation Center (ECC Hanoi) said that after three years of the ECC Hanoi-organized contest on industrial and building energy management, 300 businesses launched 900 energy efficiency projects saving 50,400 tonnes of oil equivalent (TOE) or VND1.02 trillion, and reducing the amount of CO2 by 184,500 tonnes.

Thai Binh: Over VND2.6 billion for industry promotion funding

(VEN) - According to Thai Binh province’s industry promotion plan in 2014, total funding for the local industry promotion is estimated at about VND2.689 billion. Thirty five industry promotion projects were surveyed in areas of technology transfer, technical innovation, improving quality products, labor training for industrial production facilities, improving management skills for owners of production facilities and directors of enterprises.
