Under the direction of the Secretariat and the Government, the Hung Kings’ Death Anniversary and the Hung Kings’ Temple Festival were held with traditional simple rituals, aiming to both ensure the solemnity and minimise the number of participants due to the complicated developments of Covid-19 epidemic.
The province’s leaders offered incense to commemorate the Hung Kings at Hung Kings’ Temple historical site.
This year, the palanquin procession and festive activities will not be held in order to avoid crowding.
Previously, the Management Board of Hung Kings Temple Historical Relic Site announced the suspension of business activities and services from March 29 to April 15.
In recent years, the provincial authorities have encouraged families to prepare offerings at home to pay tribute to the national ancestors and predecessors who contributed to national construction and defence.
