Hollywood film producer and actor Paul Blackthorne will be in Vietnam from May 19 to June 2 to get involved in a series of activities to protect rhinos.

These activities are co-organised by the Education for Nature-Vietnam (ENV) and the Save the Rhino International in Hanoi and HCM City.

This is part of the campaign “Save the rhino Vietnam” which was kicked off by Paul Blackhorne in  mid-April to improve world people’s awareness of  the use of rhino horns and raise funds to protect the rhinos .

Paul Blackhorne has so far shown deep concern for rhino and elephant which are under threat of extinction due to illegal hunting and trade and called on the community to take actions to protect them. In April last year, Paul Blackhorne launched the  campaign “Poach eggs not elephant” to raise funds to protect elephants. In November the same year, he initiated the campaign “Keep rhino horny” with perse  activities to protect rhinos.

Paul Blackhorne stars  in Lagaan, 24, CSI Miami, Dumb and Dumber and others. He was known by Vietnamese audiences through the Quentin Lance Detective in Arrow and the cast of terrorist Stephen Saunders in 24, which has been screened on Vietnam Television 1 (VTV1)./.
