Hoa Binh to build VietinBank Tower’s underground section

(VEN) - A signing ceremony was held recently at the head office of the Vietnam Joint Stock Commercial Bank for Industry and Trade (VietinBank) for a contract between VietinBank and the Hoa Binh-Agrimeco joint contractor, regarding construction of steel concrete and the underground section of VietinBank Tower at a total cost of almost VND770 billion during 11 months.

VietinBank Tower will cover more than 40,000sq.m of the Ciputra Urban Area in Hanoi, including two basements, nine underground storeys, a 48-storey high-grade hotel and a 68-storey office building.

VietinBank Management Board Chairman Pham Huy Hung asked Hoa Binh-Agrimeco and consulting partners to keep up with the construction schedule and ensure the quality and safety of the project.

On behalf of the Hoa Binh-Agrimeco joint contractor, Hoa Binh Corporation Chairman and General Director Le Viet Hai said that Hoa Binh had realized its responsibility to the project. He also said that the project was an opportunity for Hoa Binh to show its reputation and ability.

VietinBank Tower is the second project under cooperation between Hoa Binh and VietinBank, following the first project to build the head office of Branch 1 of the VietinBank Representative Office in Ho Chi Minh City, which is expected for transfer at the end of April 2014./.
