(VEN) - The brocade embroidery technique, traditional costumes and dance showing off the scarves of H’Mong women in Sin Suoi Ho Village in the Phong Tho District of the northern mountainous province of Lai Chau creates a strong impression on visitors to the region.

H’Mong women dance in pairs to display their scarves, describing their production as part of the dance.

Each pattern on the traditional H’Mong costume has its own meaning, mostly emphasizing the harmonization between humans and nature. Extra silver ornaments are worn on festivals, weekly markets and other important events. H’Mong women wear their traditional costume daily, as well, because it is comfortable for hard work and hiking long distances.
