(VEN) - To build a practical and effective playing field for all enterprises operating in the hardware and hand tools sector, in particular, and the machine tools industry in general, the National Trade Fair and Advertising Joint Stock Company (VINEXAD) will hold the annual Vietnam Hardware and Hand Tools 2017 in Ho Chi Minh City on December 6-9.
The exhibition will emphasize four main sectors: tools, DIY and building hardware, fasteners and securities, locks and fittings According to VINEXAD, due to its awareness of the importance of support industries, the Vietnamese government has been implementing a development program for the 2016-2025 period, with a focus on three sectors - spare parts, garments and textiles, and high-tech industries.
The exhibition is expected to attract 250 enterprises from 20 countries and territories, exhibiting in an area of 5,000sq.m. The exhibition is supported by the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI) and Ho Chi Minh City’s Association of Mechanical–Electrical Enterprises (HAMEE).
In addition to world famous names such as Bosch, Vata, Stihl, Sealey, Bawa and Oread, the exhibition will also display products made by Vietnamese spare part manufacturers, such as Vinavit, Lidovit and Minh Hoa.
Ibnu Hadi, Indonesian Ambassador to Vietnam, praise the upcoming Vietnam Hardware and Hand Tools 2017 as a significant event supporting the sustainable development of key industries: construction, automobile manufacturing, roads, shipbuilding, aerospace, woodworking and retail.
Vietnam Hardware and Hand Tools 2016 included displays by more than 152 enterprises from 17 countries and territories exhibited on 4,000sq.m, among them firms from the US, Germany, Japan, France, Hong Kong-China, India, Chinese Taipei and Indonesia. Last year’s event also attracted 4,630 trade visitors from 12 countries, and 1,050 public guests. Most of last year’s participants have confirmed their participation in this year’s expo, organizers said.
Vietnam Hardware and Hand Tools is a specialized exhibition billed as an effective commercial connection program to bridge the gap between sellers and buyers; to give buyers an opportunity to approach new technologies; to seek ways of enhancing production value, and provide an overview of the Vietnam hardware and hand tools industry for enterprises. In addition, many specialized seminars will be held during the exhibition, in collaboration with the Vietnam Association of Mechanical Industry (VAMI) and the Ho Chi Minh City’s Association of Mechanical–Electrical Enterprises (HAMEE).
