The Hanoi authorities are building a system to help students turn their start-up ideas into commercial products, municipal Party Committee Secretary Hoang Trung Hai has revealed.
Hai and other National Assembly deputies representing Hanoi on March 19 discussed the topic of learning and jobs with students from several universities and high schools in the capital city.
The Hanoi Party leader affirmed that the city always pays special attention to young people and will establish incubators, provide financial assistance and connect students with enterprises and investment funds to support their start-up ideas.
He also urged students who are studying in Hanoi to share the responsibility of making Hanoi a civilised city of well-mannered citizens.
At the meeting, Hanoi’s NA deputies received 17 opinions from young voters on various issues such as the constant changes to the university entrance examinations in recent years and the lack of entertainment and residential facilities for students.
