The center has coordinated with the relevant units to organize 20 training courses for 500 trainees on sewing uppers, open booths to display typical rural industrial products, and organize an exhibition of industry and handicraft products on a scale of 150 booths.

The center has provided support for four units within the framework of the programs to promote the development of technical performance models, strengthen technology transfer, and boost application of advanced machinery.

According to general assessment, industry promotion projects are being implemented on schedule. Industry promotion activities from the beginning of the year have been carried out quite smoothly. To ensure early completion, the Hai Phong Department of Industry and Trade has directed the center to overcome difficulties facing beneficiary units.

The local department of industry promotion has also advised the city people’s committee to approve a project on building, managing and operating the database system of Hai Phong industrial clusters.

With the goal of improving the quality of industry promotion activities, the local department will continue to cooperate with other departments and sectors to advise the city people’s committee on legal documents in order to create favorable conditions for these activities. The department also plans to focus on the development of typical rural industrial products; promote vocational training; and help polluting establishments move into industrial clusters.

The department will also integrate industry promotion projects into other programs to increase the mobilization of capital, build key projects to promote industrial development, and strengthen consultancy activities for rural industrial establishments.
