Total sales of FUSO-brand commercial vehicles grew 66 percent in 2015 compared to 2014

The best-selling beginning in the first full-year is beneficial to us as a stable foundation in the establishment and development of FUSO in the local market. Growing customer trust, higher product quality, the best customer services, nationwide network of authorized dealers, and increased customer satisfaction are highlights of our achievements.

2015, an outstanding first-year business

The Vietnam Automobile Manufacturers Association (VAMA) announced a report in early 2016 saying that total commercial vehicle sales in 2015 grew 66 percent, and specialized vehicle sales were up 107 percent. Along with the sales growth in the Vietnamese market, FUSO trucks finished 2015 with a marked retail sales growth of 18.2 percent compared to 2014. Getting inspired by the “Partner in moving customer’s business”, FUSO held many ceremonies to hand over truck fleets to our customers that went up to 62 percent compared with 2014, and considered as a key factor in gaining market share in Vietnam.

Within one year, FUSO’ s authorized dealer network increased from 11 to 17 dealers (18 outlets) nationwide with a new showroom established according to our standards. In terms of customer service, part turnover in the whole year dramatically climbed to a new record of 238 percent. With 1,691 hours of training for dealers, an increase of 109 hours or 265 percent compared with last year’s technical support and mobile services, FUSO brand name offered the best service for loyal customers.

Further enlarging market share

In 2016, FUSO aims to maintain high-level sales based on ongoing business achievements. This is an ambitious target of FUSO brand to strengthen its leading position and expand its market share in the Vietnamese high-quality truck market. Below are FUSO’s commitments to realize its targets for 2016:
Long-term investment: Investing approximately US$10 million in building a new factory, especially for commercial vehicle manufacturing in Vietnam.

Diversify trucks line-up: Introducing new variant products from light to heavy-duty-trucks optimized gross vehicle weight. This year, FUSO also unveils a new type of specialized vehicle, FUSO Fighter FJ mixer. In the second quarter, FUSO plans to launch its new ROSA bus in the Vietnamese market.

Standard authorized dealers: All 3S authorized dealers nationwide will apply appropriate standards known as Retail Facility (RF).

Customers are the key to success: FUSO is committed to developing customer service, improving technical skills, and providing mobile services 24/7.

“Now or never” promotion campaign    

FUSO has launched a special promotion campaign entitled “Now or never” – Body allowance up to VND40 million for customers buying FUSO Canter in the light-duty-trucks market segment from March 4 until April 17, 2016. FUSO brand also offers fully free registration (cabin chassis) to customers who buy 4.7-tonne Canter trucks.
