(VEN) - November 8th, Ford Vietnam announced a best-ever monthly record as October retail sales have soared 14 percent year-over-year to 2,430 units.
Ford sales year-to-date have soared 50 percent from last year to 23,527 vehicles, as Ford continues to be one of the fastest growing auto brands in Vietnam this year.
“Our full line-up of class-leading Ford vehicles continues to attract a wide range of Vietnamese customers who appreciate the unmatched value in their respective segments” said Pham Van Dung, managing director, Ford Vietnam.
The wide appeal of segment-defining Ranger continues in October with its record monthly retail sales up 13 percent from 2015 to 1,136 units. Year-to-date sales have jumped 91 percent in comparison with last year to 11,402 units, helping Ranger retain its top position in the benchmark for versatile and reliable pick-up.
Sales of the popular EcoSport – which maintains the best-selling compact SUV in Vietnam rose 40 percent year-over-year to 501 units.
The versatile Transit commercial van also delivered a record month in Vietnam with October performance of 605 units, pushing year-to-date sales up 36% to 5,969 units compared to 2015.
