The fair is a sound opportunity for Vietnamese businesses, many of which are owned by young people running agricultural start-up models, to advertise their products to customers in Hanoi and the northern region.
Deputy Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Vu Van Tam stressed that the ministry always supports and encourages businesses to apply advanced technologies and farming practices in manufacturing while promoting their role as the motive force in establishing safe agri-food supply chains.
Meanwhile, Deputy Minister of Science and Technology Tran Van Tung said he hoped that the fair would bring together businesses, farmers, researchers and scientists for the common goal of increasing productivity and raising people’s awareness on food safety.
The fair will run until October 9 at the Hanoi Trade Promotion Centre for Agriculture, 489 Hoang Quoc Viet street, Cau Giay district./.
