Exhibitions on auxiliary products for industries open in Hanoi

Three exhibitions introducing auxiliary products for industries opened concurrently in Hanoi, on September 13.

The events include, the seventh Vietnam-Japan Support Industry Exhibition, an expo on equipment, technology and support industry for the electronic industry and an expo on Vietnamese support industry products.

The exhibitions have attracted the participation of over 200 brands from 20 countries and territories, including Japan, the Republic of Korea, China, Singapore and Thailand, among others.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Deputy Minister of Industry and Trade Tran Quoc Khanh emphasised that the Vietnamese Government is proactively assisting firms operating in the support industries to apply modern quality management systems and improve the quality and reliability of their products, thus enabling them to join the global production and supply chains.

The exhibitions are expected to provide Vietnamese firms with a good opportunity to increase the ratio of local content in electrical products and support industries, as well as exchange experience with partners from Japan and around the world, he noted.

Chief Representative of the Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), Hironobu Kitagawa said that the Vietnam-Japan Support Industry Exhibition will display the Pre-matching system for the first time, which allows enterprises to connect and exchange in a more effective way.

The exhibitions, which run until September 15, have been jointly organised by the JETRO in Hanoi, Reed Tradex Co., Ltd of Thailand, the Ministry of Industry and Trade’s Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency and the Vietnam Electronic Industries Association.
