Exhibition honors female Vietnamese scientists

Despite working in different fields such as agriculture, environment, healthcare and education, the 15 female scientists shared a common passion for science and aspiration to serve the country.

The female scientists have gained significant achievements in their researches and the outcomes of their works have benefited the community and contributed to making a better society.

They include Prof., Dr. Nguyen Thi Lang, Assc. Prof., Dr. Nguyen Thi Hoe, Assc. Prof. Nguyen Tuyet Minh, Prof. Nguyen Thi Ngoc Phuong, Dr. Vuong Thi Ngoc Lan, Assc. Prof., Dr. Bach Khanh Hoa, Assc. Prof., Dr. Ha Thi Thuy, Assc. Prof., Dr. Le Kim Phung, Dr Nguyen Thi Mua, Dr. Tran Thi Ngoc Dung, Assc. Prof., Dr. Tang Thi Chinh, Dr. Ha Phuong Thu, MSc. Tam Thi Lan, engineer Nguyen Thi Nguyet, and BSc Nguy Thi Khanh.

The exhibition displays objects, photos, and documentary films featuring the life of working achievements of the female scientists as well as their roles as mothers and wives in the family.

The exhibits also reveal difficulties facing female scientists, their strong determination to reach their goals, and support they received from their families.

The event will run until November 16 at 36 Ly Thuong Kiet street, Hai Ba Trung district.
