Eurowindow (European Plastics Window) Company Ltd. organised a ceremony in Hanoi on August 26 to celebrate the 15th anniversary of its establishment and to receive a Labour Medal (second class), in the presence of Politburo Member, Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue.
At the opening, on behalf of the Eurowindow Board, Nguyen Canh Hong - CEO briefly stated the history of the formation and development of Eurowindow in the last 15 years, highlighting the important milestones that the company has achieved.
At present Eurowindow has five factories and two glass centres with 3 branches, 40 showrooms and hundreds of agents and distributors across the country, as well as more than 4,000 trained staff. Eurowindow products have been used in tens of thousands of projects throughout the country, including many key national projects.
Vice Chairman of the Hanoi People's Committee Nguyen Doan Toan highly appreciated Eurowindow's contribution to implementing the regulations and policies of the State in the production process, contributing significantly to providing jobs for employees of the city and the country, whilst the lives of workers has been increasingly improved, contributing to the general social stability in the city.
In 2016, Eurowindow contributed VND 5 billion to the housing fund for people who contributed meritorious services towards the revolution and VND 20 billion to purchase equipment and machines for the Hanoi High-Tech and Digestive Centre at the St. Paul Hospital.
The Vice Chairman of Hanoi People's Committee proposed that Eurowindow should continue to promote their achievements and efforts to push up the business and increase productivity, create new jobs, improve the officials and employees’ lives, and actively participate in charitable activities, in accordance with State obligations.
On the occasion, Deputy PM Vuong Dinh Hue presented a second-class Labour Medal to the Eurowindow company.
