(VEN) - The 16th United Nations Vesak Day Celebrations took place from May 12-14 at the Tam Chuc Pagoda in the northern province of Ha Nam, bringing together more than 100,000 attendants, including foreign delegates from 112 countries and territories and Vietnamese Buddhist dignitaries and followers.
The Quintessence of Tonkin attracts visitors to Hanoi

“The Quintessence of Tonkin”, the first real life performance in Vietnam - takes place three times per week at Baara Land, an entertainment complex in Sai Son Commune, Quoc Oai District, over 20km west of Hanoi. With the participation of more than 150 farmers and 100 dancers, the performance tells vivid stories about the culture and everyday life of people in the Red River Delta.
