(VEN) - “I recalled the day when I was a five-year-old child and was taken to the Hang Ma Street brightened with red couplets and lanterns signaling the coming of the Lunar New Year. My mother was busy with preparing stuffed sticky rice cake, meat and green bean paste. I and my brothers and sisters were excited to go hand in hand to the market with mother who would buy us new outfits for the Tet. Now, my life is a lot better but I still craved for the excitement of the old Tet Festival and I saw the same excitement in my child’s eyes seeing her mother preparing for the Tet,” said Nga, who lives at Thai Ha Street, while preparing things for making stuffed sticky rice cake.
