Thousands of domestic and foreign tourists and Buddhist dignitaries flocked to the Yen Tu Pagoda in the northern coastal province of Quang Ninh to join the Spring Festival, which officially opened on February 9, the tenth day of the first lunar month.

(VEN) - The market on last days of the Lunar New Year has about 20 tables displaying mostly food and agricultural products instead of specific goods of the Tet Holidays such as alcohol or jams. Sellers and buyers were both foreigners and Vietnamese. Nearby, there were also dozens of foreigners and Vietnamese who gathered in knots talking in a familiar way. That was what I saw at the Tay Ho Market on a Saturday morning near Tet.
