(VEN) - Ho Chi Minh City (HCMC) is the leading locality of the country’s tourism sector with the average number of tourists accounting for 50-55 percent of foreign visitors to Vietnam annually. The turnover from tourism activities of the city has also seen a high growth, accounting for about 47 percent of the country’s tourism revenue and every year the sector contributes 11 percent to the city’s gross domestic product (GDP).
