RoK Cultural Days kicked off in Thai Nguyen

(VEN) - On the occasion of the 22nd anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Vietnam and the Republic of Korea (RoK), the Korean Cultural Center, the Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam’s Ethnic Groups, and the Korea Tourism Organization, jointly organized RoK Cultural Days in Thai Nguyen Province from December 19, 2014 until February 28, 2015. The event is taking place at the Museum of the Cultures of Vietnam’s Ethnic Groups and the Cultural Center of Thai Nguyen Province.
Thanh Hoa hosts National Tourism Year 2015

Co Loa, the oldest and largest earth structure in Southeast Asia

(VEN)- The Co Loa Citadel’s research, jointly conducted from 2007-2014 by the Thang Long-Hanoi Heritage Conservation Center and the Vietnam Institute of Archaeology, showed that the citadel was the oldest and largest earth structure of its kind in Vietnam and Southeast Asia. It was constructed by King An Duong Vuong in the third and second century BC.
Tallest Christmas tree in nation lights up

The tallest Christmas tree in Vietnam–26 metres high and 14 metres wide–was lit December 20 at the Thanh Le Culture Park in Thu Dau Mot city in southern Binh Duong province, where it will be illuminated with more than 200,000 lights every night until the end of the year.
