Central region tourism: Bigger and better

(VEN) - Sea-based tourism in Vietnam’s central region has recovered after the 2016 pollution disaster that killed masses of fish and other marine life off the coasts of Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Thua Thien Hue provinces, according to the National Administration of Tourism (VNAT).
Vietnamese film to be screened in Japan

Vietnamese movie “I see yellow flowers on the green grass” by director Victor Vu will be screened in Japan on August 19 with a view to bringing Vietnamese culture closer to Japanese people, heard a press conference in Tokyo on July 31.
Marine tourism considered major strength

(VEN) - Vietnam is home to 2,770 near-shore islands and a series of beautiful beaches spanning the coastline from north to south. Of these, 125 beaches and bays are considered favorable for tourism development, and more than 30 have been developed, resulting in local poverty reduction. Marine tourism has contributed 70 percent to Vietnam’s tourism revenue.
ASEAN Cultural Day opens in Vinh Phuc
