(VEN) - On July 31, 2013, a gas asphyxiation incident killed three coal officers at the coal seam 643 in Vang Danh Ward, Uong Bi City under the management of the Dong Vong Coal Co. Ltd, a subsidiary of the Vietnam National Coal-Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin). Earlier, in June two labor accidents in the coal mining sector also killed two coal workers.
