Noi Bai-Lao Cai Highway to promote Vietnam-China trade

(VEN) - The Noi Bai-Lao Cai Highway was fully completed and opened for use on September 21. The highway is expected to ease traffic problems and promote trade along the Kunming (China) - Lao Cai - Hanoi - Hai Phong - Quang Ninh (Kunming-Hai Phong) economic corridor.
Escaping poverty thanks to vocational training

(VEN) - About 75 percent of the rural laborers in the northern province of Lao Cai (mostly ethnic minorities) after attending vocational training courses have been employed by local enterprises with average wages from VND4-6 million per person per month. Vocational training for rural laborers (according to the Prime Ministerial Decision 1956/2009/QD-TTg) is regarded as a “fishing rod” to help Lao Cai’s laborers escape from poverty.

Vietnamese non-alcoholic beer launched

The Polyco Group installed a 1,000-liters-of-non-alcoholic-beer-per-hour production line at the Saigon-Hoang Quynh Brewery of the Sai Gon Binh Tay Beer Joint Stock Company. This is the only non-alcoholic beer production chain in Vietnam.
