(VEN) - Over the past decade, major investments in infrastructure in central Vietnam have provided better hospitals and health clinics. Training of the medical, nursing and public health workforce has also been enhanced through significant upgrades to facilities in the Hue University of Medicine and Pharmacy. An important challenge is to develop better cooperation between health and education sectors. A new partnership between the university and five provincial health departments will focus on applying advanced research skills to improve the evidence needed for more effective and efficient health care in the community.
