Expanding beneficiaries of labor safety policies

(VEN) - Compared with the 2012 Labor Code, the draft law on occupational health and safety (OHS) which is being drafted will supplement a number of OHS regulations on those laborers who work in non-official sectors and don’t have labor contracts. These are regulations on OHS information, propaganda, education and training and making statement on labor accidents.

(VEN) - Bringing the Learning Home was the title of an international seminar held by the British Council in Vietnam in October 25-26 2014. The seminar attracted 190 participants from 16 countries inside and outside the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) who gave discussions, offered recommendations and orientations for international cooperation in vocational training.
November CPI set to top October

(VEN) - Constant decreases in petrol and oil prices and plentiful food and foodstuff supplies in October contributed to stabilizing the consumer price index (CPI). October’s CPI was 0.11 percent higher than September’s and 2.26 percent more than late 2013. This has been the lowest CPI growth since 2005. November’s CPI is expected to be higher than October’s.
