The gas carrier was built under a contract between the sides signed last year. It is 60 meters long and 11 meters wide, capable of loading 1,200 cubic meters of liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
Previously, on October 23, the DQS launched at a dry dock the Vung Tau 05, one of two multi-functional ships ordered by the Vietnam - Russia joint venture Vietsovpetro through a 936-billion-VND (41.2 million USD) contract.
Each ship is 76 meters long and 17 meters wide, with loading and power capacity of 2,000 tonnes and 12,000 horsepower.
The Vung Tau 05 will be handed over to Vietsovpetro in December, while the Vung Tau 06 will be ready for transfer in late January 2018.
