(VEN) - The Dong Nai Department of Industry and Trade has opened two new points of sale for Vietnamese products in Cam My and Vinh Cuu districts this month.
The November 16 opening of the two outlets – Hanh Kieu Store, in Hamlet 61, Song Nhan Commune, Cam My District and Huu Son Store in Hamlet 1, Tri An Commune, Vinh Cuu District - is part of efforts made by the province to instill pride in Vietnamese goods and encourage their consumption.
The two stores have been supported in repairing, upgrading and investing in counters, shelves and signboards under conditions set by the Ministry of Industry and Trade. All the goods sold in these stores are 100% Vietnamese. They are also outlets for goods sold under the province’s price-stabilization scheme, which aims to bring Vietnamese products closer to domestic consumers, especially in remote areas, at reasonable prices.
The opening of new points of sale for Vietnamese products has happened under the auspices of the “Pride in Vietnamese Goods” program being implemented alongside the 2014-2020 campaign titled "Vietnamese give priority to Vietnamese goods”. The campaign is being carried out jointly by the Ministry of Industry and Trade and the provincial department.
