The racecourse covers 60 hectares of the complex with five different tracks for horse racing, motorbike and go-kart racing, dog racing, watercraft racing (Jet Ski) and flyboat performances.

It is surrounded by an assembled stand with a capacity of 20,000 seats.

At the inaugural ceremony, the Binh Duong Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, in collaboration with the Vietnam Bicycle–Motor Sports Federation and the Dai Nam Racecourse, launched the 2017 Dai Nam Race in celebration of the Lunar New Year (Tet).

The tournament takes place from January 29 to February 6 (from the second to the tenth day of the Tet holiday), featuring two events of horse racing and motorbike racing, together with go-kart, jet ski and flyboat performances.

According to the organisational committee, the competition aims to serve people’s entertainment demands during Tet and functions as a pilot in preparation for the full operation of the racecourse with other events.
