Vietnam, Australia look to harvest CPTPP fruit

(VEN) - Vietnam and Australia established diplomatic relations 46 years ago this year. They upgraded their relationship to that of a strategic partnership more than year ago. Both countries are also signatories to the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP). The stage is set, therefore, for both countries to exploit each other’s strengths to enhance bilateral cooperation in the new period, Julianne Cowley, Australian Consul-General in Ho Chi Minh City tells Vietnam Ecocomic News’ My Phung.

(VEN) - According to the AHK World Business Outlook 2019 released by the Delegate of the German Industry and Commerce in Vietnam (GIC/AHK Vietnam), Vietnam’s participation in a number of free trade agreements such as the Comprehensive and Progressive Agreement for Trans-Pacific Partnership (CPTPP) and the EU-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (EVFTA) has attracted German investors to the Vietnamese market. According to the outlook, German companies have high expectations of economic development in the medium term.
Vietnam, Armenia eye expanded cooperation

(VEN) - Although bilateral trade remains modest, economic relations between Vietnam and Armenia are forecast to expand thanks to the free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and Vietnam. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s visit to Vietnam from July 4-7 was expected to strengthen the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries.
