Vietnam, Armenia eye expanded cooperation

(VEN) - Although bilateral trade remains modest, economic relations between Vietnam and Armenia are forecast to expand thanks to the free trade agreement between the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) and Vietnam. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan’s visit to Vietnam from July 4-7 was expected to strengthen the traditional friendship and cooperation between the two countries.

Italy eyes ambitious EU-ASEAN trade pact

(VEN) - Italy’s major policy target in the next five years is to connect the EU and ASEAN in order to achieve a comprehensive trade agreement between the two sides, in which Vietnam plays a very important role, according to Enrico Letta, President of the Italy-ASEAN Association.
