Cooperation to develop training programs for project management capacity in Vietnam

On September 22, MVV Entrepreneur Academy Corporation (MVV Academy-Vietnam) and the Institute of Project Management (IPM-Australia) signed a Strategic Cooperation Agreement in developing training programs for project management in Vietnam.  

The ceremony took place with the witness of Mrs. Rebecca Ball, a Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner and representative of the Australian Trade Office in Vietnam.

According to the agreement, IPM will cooperate with MVV Academy to build blended training programs for Vietnamese businesspeople in developing knowledge and skillset, expanding capacity, and enhancing their professional project management culture. MVV will support IPM to create content following international standards and publish them on the MVV Uni and MVV Everlearn learning management platforms. A highly qualified team of experts will be arranged for training delivery, quality assessment, and IPM certification provision.

As a pioneer organization in applying technology to human resource training and development activities, MVV Academy, with experience in researching, designing, and providing online training services, will coordinate the conversion and localization of learning content following the IPM's standards into lively online courses and lectures. All courses are highly customized and applicable in the business environment of Vietnam. Learners can access courses on the MVV Everlearn and MVV Uni platforms, as well as attend blended courses at the MVV Entrepreneurship Academy and receive a certificate issued by IPM.

Regarding this agreement, Mr. Bui Duc Quan, Managing Director of MVV Academy shared: “Vietnam is having great business opportunities, but to turn them into successful projects, organizations must prioritize project management skills. We are very happy to work with Australia's leading experts in this field such as IPM with a team of project managers and other management levels in Vietnam. Hopefully, MVV Academy's experience in applying training technology will support IPM's access to this knowledge most effectively and efficiently for Vietnamese businesses."

Speaking at the Signing Ceremony, Mrs. Rebecca Ball - Senior Trade and Investment Commissioner and representative of the Australian Trade Office in Vietnam share that: “Today’s signing ceremony will mark the bilateral goal between Vietnam and Australia. The two parties will become the top 10 trading partners with their focused efforts in education and partnership with the government-industry. Although Vietnam has a young and enthusiastic workforce, there are about 55 legal challenges remain on Human Resources to optimize this resource. We look forward to developing the education industry in Vietnam, and there are many opportunities to do so, such as the partnership between MVV Academy and IPM. And most importantly, Covid-19 reminds us that we need to work together to grow and adapt to the digital transformation technology platform so that we can deliver very flexible training solutions.
