Vietnam, Germany look to strengthen multifaceted relationship

From a water-driven forge to a digital high-tech pioneer

(VEN) - German tech giant Bosch has a long history of more than 25 years from the first footprint in Vietnam since 1994 and that solidified with the establishment of a wholly owned subsidiary in 2007. Today it has more than 4,200 associates, offices in Ho Chi Minh City, Hanoi and Da Nang, a Powertrain Solutions plant in Dong Nai and two R&D centers in Ho Chi Minh City. In 2020, Bosch Vietnam was ranked among the best companies to work for in the country, making it the fifth consecutive year that Bosch is being listed as one of the top 100 employers.

UK, Vietnam sign deal to ensure post-Brexit trade, investment

(VEN) - The United Kingdom-Vietnam Free Trade Agreement (UKVFTA) was officially inked in London on December 29, 2020. The two countries’ ambassadors were authorized to sign the deal as top Vietnamese officials were unable to travel to the UK amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
