Vietnam hopes for more ADB support: PM Phuc

As Vietnam is in need of resources for its production recovery, the country hopes for more support from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) to develop major fields such as infrastructure and smart agriculture, Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc said on June 22.

(VEN) - As the 2020 chair of the ASEAN bloc, Vietnam is making joint efforts with the other member states and six partner countries to accelerate negotiations on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP) with a view to signing it later this year in time to deal with the heavy economic fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic.
