(VEN) - The demand for information about India and the India-Vietnam relations has risen significantly due to the growing bilateral cooperation. In order to meet this demand, the University of Social Sciences and Humanities (USSH) in Ho Chi Minh City, in association with the Consulate General of India, established the India Information Office at the Thu Duc Campus, Ho Chi Minh City. The inauguration of the India Information Office was held on July 30.

(VEN) - “France absolutely supports free trade agreement (FTA) negotiations between Vietnam and the EU and hopes the agreement will be signed later this year. (VEN) - According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Vietnam and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), which includes Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, has undergone eight rounds of negotiations. The parties are preparing for the next round of negotiations scheduled to take place from August 25-28 in Hanoi. It is anticipated that discussions on the agreement will be finished by the end of this year.
