(VEN) - The eighth Cambodia-Laos-Myanmar-Vietnam Cooperation Summit (CLMV 8), the seventh Ayeyawady-Chao Phraya-Mekong Economic Cooperation Strategy Summit (ACMECS 7), and the World Economic Forum on the Mekong Region (WEF Mekong) took place in Hanoi, Vietnam from October 24-26. Joint statements and commitments released at these events indicate that economic connectivity is one of the key factors contributing to the prosperity of the Mekong sub-region.
