Determination to quickly complete Vietnam-EFTA FTA

(VEN) - According to the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) between Vietnam and the European Free Trade Association (EFTA), which includes Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway and Switzerland, has undergone eight rounds of negotiations. The parties are preparing for the next round of negotiations scheduled to take place from August 25-28 in Hanoi. It is anticipated that discussions on the agreement will be finished by the end of this year.
Vietnam-Customs Union FTA to be signed soon

(VEN) - After only two rounds of negotiations, a free trade agreement (FTA) between Vietnam and the Customs Union of Russia, Belarus and Kazakhstan is scheduled for conclusion by the end of this year. The two sides are determined to resolve the remaining issues to quickly complete the content of the agreement.

(VEN) - The Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) Agreement is expected to be signed later this year. It contains commitments on trade in goods at the World Trade Organization Plus (WTO+) level and goes further than other free trade agreements (FTAs) which Vietnam has signed. As a TPP negotiator, Vietnam is seeking the maximum benefits for domestic businesses and the entire economy.
RCEP negotiations keep up with schedule

(VEN) - The fifth negotiation round on the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) was recently held in Singapore hosting about 500 delegates from 10 member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) and six partner countries including Japan, China, the Republic of Korea, India, Australia and New Zealand. RCEP is also known as ASEAN+6 and includes the ASEAN member countries and the six partner countries which have concluded free trade agreements (FTAs) with ASEAN.
