Fresh momentum in Vietnamese-German strategic partnership

(VEN) - The November 20-22 visit by Sigmar Grabiel, Deputy Federal Chancellor and Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy of Germany, is expected to generate new momentum for the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Germany, taking place as it does on the threshold of the 40th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries (September 23, 1975).
Vietnam takes the initiative in regional economic integration

(VEN) - Promoting regional integration is a key part of Vietnam’s deep renovation and comprehensive international integration efforts. Vietnam is willing to create favorable conditions for foreign businesses to invest in the country’s infrastructure development, President Truong Tan Sang said at the Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) CEO Summit 2014 held in Beijing. The summit drew the participation of more than 1,500 leading groups from the region.
Investments in Asia Pacific to continue to climb

(VEN) - A new report released by PwC on November 10 reveals that 46 percent of executives in the region now say they are “very confident” of growth in the next 12 months, up 10 points from 2012 and four points from last year, despite slowing growth in China, the economic engine for the region. Vietnam ranked 7th among the top ten APEC economies for increasing investments, and 6th among the top ten APEC private sector capital investment destinations.

APEC 22 affirmed that the Asia-Pacific would continue to be a driving force of the global economy.

Vietnam, Laos increase economic cooperation
