(VEN) - Children are not always happy at the idea of going to school. These children in Nghe An Province, however, appear to be enjoying themselves at a recent ceremony to mark the opening of the Na Ngoi 1 Primary School in Keo Bac Village.
Na Ngoi is a poor commune in Ky Son District, near Vietnam’s border with Laos, where residents eke out a living mostly from hill farming.
Some 100 families, mostly members of the H’Mong ethnic minority, live in Keo Bac Village.
They usually wear traditional, colorful costumes to celebrate festive occasions.
