Also in attendance at the event were National Assembly Vice Chairman Uong Chu Luu, a number of leaders from the ministries, central agencies and branches; representatives of diplomatic agencies from Russia and Belarus; as well as many intellectuals, scientists, alumni, and students who have studied and worked in the former Soviet Union and the Russian Federation, as it is known today.
The program included interviews, exchanges and artistic performance by Russian and Vietnamese artists.
The program also featured valuable footage of President Ho Chi Minh during his stay in the Soviet Union, as well as his choice for the revolutionary path of Vietnam.
To mark the 100th anniversary of the October Revolution, a wide range of events have also been held throughout the country.
