An Giang’s January export surplus exceeds US$65 million

(VEN) - The An Giang Province Department of Industry and Trade said that An Giang sold US$65.2 million worth of goods more than it imported in January 2014.

Export revenues amounted to US$74.8 million, a 21.3 percent increase from a year ago. Seafood led provincial exports with revenues of US$30.2 million and was followed by rice US$13.9 million, Tra and Basa fish oil and powder US$9.3 million and garments US$7.9 million, fertilizer US$1.87 million and frozen fruits and vegetables US$1 million.

The province imported more than US$9.6 million worth of goods in January, including pesticides costing US$4.1 million and fabric US$2.6 million./.
